She has been living and working in Rémalard (61) since 2018. She works with line in all its forms. With pencil, felt-tip pen, oil pastel or oil stick, she traces... Very small formats on stretcher or paper, very large formats on canvas and stretcher. Very colorful for the small formats, monochrome for the large ones. There's color and there's line. With line, a whole irrigation system is put in place. With color, it's a second skin that covers the canvas. "You never know what the painting will be, it appears as you go along; I myself only see it at the end. What I do," says the artist, "is not a fabric, nor paths that cross, just hand-drawn lines. With all the fragility that implies... My work is imperfect, and that's good.
